3-D Printed Ovaries That Made Babies

OK OK they were mouse babies but babies non the less.  Researchers made the scaffolding, added follicles, surgically implanted them into mice whose ovaries had been removed.  After recovering, the mice were mated and baby mice were born 20 days later!  This is very exciting news for women who lose their ovaries for various reasons including cancer.  Couple this with CRISPR/Cas9 and deleterious genetic mutations can be excised and normal gene inserted....Voila!
